ABOUT ME
I'm Carmina Campos, and I sew from my home in Veracruz.
My name is Carmina Campos and I live in Veracruz, Veracruz. I learned to sew watching my mother, with a borrowed machine and a pile of scraps nobody wanted to throw away.
I started making cushions for my family. One for my niece, another for a friend, and suddenly I was being called about favor bags for a christening. Little by little, this became my work.
Today I sew at home, at a table by the window. Every piece passes through my hands: I cut the fabric, I embroider the names, I check it before it goes in the box. I don't work fast, and I think you can tell.
It makes me so happy when someone sends me a photo of their party or their baby's room with something of mine in it. That's why I like talking with my customers before I begin: so what arrives is exactly what you pictured.
